The Flute Studio at Utah State University is housed in the Caine College of the Arts.
The Utah State University Flute Studio, under the direction of Dr. Jeiran Hasan, is a growing studio whose members are dedicated to achieving excellence as musicians, flutists, music educators, arts advocates, and entrepreneurs. The USU Flute Studio fosters a supportive and dynamic learning environment with a focus on developing the fundamentals of expressive tone and strong technique to create artistic, versatile musicians. All USU flute students receive a weekly private lesson with Dr. Hasan, attend a weekly Studio Class where they perform for each other and discuss special topics related to flute performance and teaching, and perform in a weekly Flute Choir. All USU flute students have the opportunity to participate in numerous studio sponsored events throughout the year (such as in studio recitals, community outreach events and are encouraged to take advantage of the many large ensemble performance opportunities at USU. Audition requirements for the flute studio may be found here. For information regarding tuition, please visit here.
